Napkin Rings - Cherry and Maple

One of my fond growing-up memories is of my mom's extensive and eclectic napkin ring collection.  My dinnertime job as a kid was to choose the napkin rings for that evening's meal.  As an adult, I've turned to making them for other people's tables.  

I made this set of napkin rings by precision-cutting layers of cherry and maple, gluing them up, then sanding them smooth and adding a hand-rubbed oil finish.
