Rather than being turned out of a single piece of stock, segmented bowls feature a variety of woods glued together before being turned. This enables a huge set of creative possibilities for design. And the only thing more beautiful than the various hardwoods of Southern Indiana is the combination of those hardwoods (and occasional exotic woods) in a single bowl.
These bowls are finished with all-natural, non-toxic walnut oil. They are food safe, although they should be hand-washed, and if washed repeatedly, they will eventually require renewed applications of finish.
Each bowl is one of a kind, with stock being dictated by my creative inklings and available materials.
