Segmented Cremation Urn - Eastern Red Cedar

This unique cremation urn is handcrafted from locally-sourced Eastern red cedar.  This design involves cutting perfect wedge-shaped segments, gluing them into rings, gluing these ring layers up to form the walls of the urn, then turning and sanding the urn to final shape on the lathe and adding a hand-rubbed oil finish. It's a very precise, time- and skill-intensive process, but it yields a gorgeous product.  This urn is 7 1/14" inches in diameter and 9 1/4" inches high, large enough to accommodate the cremated remains of a 225-lb person.  The top can be custom-engraved for an extra fee.
